Digital Communictions Direction at The “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University Iaşi

Digital Communications Direction (known as D.C.D.) was officially founded in July 1994 (under name Data Communications Department) but it operates from November 1993. Until Romanian Education Network, Iasi Branch has been set up, D.C.D. was the Internet node in N-E part of Romania for educational network. Iasi NSP of Romanian Education Network (RoEduNet) is operational since September 1998.
